Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring?
All you need to bring are a towel and sunscreen. We have snorkel equipment on the boats, but you are welcome to bring yours if you have it.
How long are the trips?
Our trips begin at 9am and we are back to the dock by 4pm. However private charters can be tailored to your requirements and we often adjust sailing times to fit with cruise ship schedules, so please call if you have a different requirement.
Are children welcome on our boats?
Our boats are perfect for children and families to have a wonderful trip. We have lifejackets for youngsters on both boats if needed. New sailors can enjoy being Captain and steering the boat if they wish.
How crowded do the boats get?
We are careful not to crowd either of our boats. They can take 20 people comfortably and have plenty of space and shade.
Do you do half days?
We sometimes do half days but only for private charters. Call and chat with Gary and he will let you know options. Most groups prefer a full day as it gives more opportunity for seeing the different Virgin Islands.
Is there shade/washrooms?
Both our boats offer lots of shade. There are always places to get out of the sun.

We have washrooms on both our boats.
Do you cater to nervous or weak swimmers?
We have pool noodles and lifejackets that are available to anyone who thinks it necessary to have some extra floatation. Bobbing around on a noodle with a cocktail in the clear turquoise water is a blissful sensation.
What is available to drink?
We serve rum punch on board (or fruit punch if preferred), also beers, sodas and water.
Where do we get our lunch?
On our sailboat, we provide a freshly made lunch buffet. On our Perwer boat, the Soggy Dollar bar and Hendo Hideout at Jost Van Dyke, are good options for lunch.
What are your cancellation policies?
If you need to cancel your trip and it’s more than 2 weeks before the date then you get a full refund. Any trips cancelled by us for weather will also get a full refund.

If your ship does not come into port for any reason, you get a full refund.
